Boiling
water into liquor
Before
we brew we boil the water to make liquor. This removes the impurities from the
water and gives the beer more flavour. The kettle we have can hold up to 550
gallons which is enough to make 360 gallons of beer. In the kettle we have 2
elements one is 30kW and the other is 24kW. These take about 7 hours to boil
the full kettle.
